Pakpattan man who made mini airplane has a special request for PM Imran

The man requested the prime minister to provide him an opportunity to play his role in the development of the country.

Islamabad (Pakistan Point News – 5th April, 2019) Muhammad Fayyaz, Pakpattan man who was arrested for making a small homemade airplane, has made a request to Prime Minister Imran Khan.

According to media reports, the man requested the prime minister to provide him an opportunity to play his role in the development of the country.

Pakpattan Police had taken into custody a mini airplane when its maker Muhammad Fayyaz attempted to fly it without registering it with any concerned authority.

The man was arrested moments before his homemade airplane could take off from a road.

According to the FIR, Fayaz was apprehended for building an aircraft without a permit and performing aerobatics in the makeshift flying machine.

The police action was met by criticism on social media as the man should be encouraged for his talent rather being apprehended.

Following criticism, on the directives of Secretary Aviation and Director General Pakistan Civil Aviation Authority Shahrukh Nusrat, a team of Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) on Thursday returned the mini airplane to the resident of Pakpattan Chak No 32SB Muhammad Fayyaz.

Secretary Aviation Shahrukh Nusrat said in this regard that the passion and skills of mini airplane maker Muhammad Fayaz is appreciated and guidance will be provided to him to achieve more expertise in his field.
