Russian Soyuz Rocket With O3b Satellites Lifts Off From Kourou Space Center

MOSCOW (Pakistan Point News / Sputnik - 04th April, 2019) The Soyuz launch vehicle with four telecoms satellites of the O3b constellation was launched on Thursday from the Kourou space center in French Guiana.

The� launch took place at 14.04 local time (17:04 GMT). It was delayed for 33 minutes due to the technical glitch at one of the European ground tracking stations. The launch was broadcast on the website of the French Arianespace company.

The constellation is owned and operated by O3b Networks, which is a wholly owned subsidiary of SES S.A., the world's leading satellite operator with more than 50 satellites in Geostationary Earth Orbit (GEO) and 12 in Medium Earth Orbit (MEO).�
