Islamabad (Pakistan Point News / Online - 04th April, 2019) Responding to former interior minister Ishaq Dar's comment, State Minister for Revenue Muhammad Hammad Azhar on Thursday said proclaimed offenders and court absconders don't have right to deliver lecture economic development but on money laundering.He termed former interior minister Ishaq Dar responsible of the current financial crunch. The state minister for interior said, "A proclaimed offenders suggesting us to give country economy on contract.
"Hammad Azhar expressed these views while talking to media after computerized launching at Federal board of Revenue (FBR) Islamabad on Thursday.He blamed that the current financial crisis, trust deficit and circular deficit is result of the poor financial policies of the PML-N government. He said the previous government barrowed Rs2400 billion from abroad to strengthen rupee values, adding that loans put institutions on the track of destruction.
Azhar said the power sector has faced Rs600 billion losses for the past one year.Responding to former finance minister recent statement, the state minister for interior said a proclaimed offender can deliver lecture on money laundering and downfall of economy but not for the development and boost of economy.Referring Dr Hafeez Pasha's book, he said Pasha writes how the PML-N government destroyed the national economy. He maintained that the PTI government is putting efforts to improve the national economy and bring the departments out from financial deficit.Hammad Azhar added that the country economy is improving after increase in foreign exchange. He said these people while sitting in opposition want to destroy the national economy, adding that in fact they should face the court cases against them. These are the same courts that they have been ruled for over 40 years.
