Sindh Minister Inauguarates Newly Constructed Sports Complex

SUKKUR, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 10th Nov, 2016 ) : Sindh Minister for Sports and Youth Affairs, Sardar Muhammad Bux Khan Mahar inaugurated the newly constructed Syed Qaim Ali Shah Indoor Sports Complex and Intercollegiate Sports Gala 2016-17 at Shah Abdul Latif University (SALU), Khairpur on Thursday.
Speaking on the occasion, the Minister said Sports plays a vital role in the contribution of society.The Sindh government under the leadership of Chief Minister Sindh Syed Murad Ali Shah is committed to provide the latest sports facilities to our youth, he added.
He said that they are earmarking sufficient amount for the renovation of sports complexes and grounds at provincial level.
He announced that Sports Hostel will be established at SALU fully funded by the Ministry of Sports and Youth Affairs, Sindh government and allied, latest equipments will be provided for the University's youth.
The Vice Chancellor (VC) SALU, Professor Dr Parveen Shah, Chairman, Municipal Committee, Khairpur Syed Amjad Ali Shah, Director Physical education, Muhammad Murad Pirzada, Registrar Dr Syed Asad Raza Abidi and others also spoke on the occasion. APP/ss/shb/rn
