Quetta (Pakistan Point News / Online - 03rd April, 2019) Authorities have closed the official accounts of Iranian Consulate in Quetta.Iranian Consulate has confirmed the development and informed Online that the issue would be raised with Pakistani officials on priority basis.The Iranian Consulate's official accounts were in the Habib Bank Limited (HBL), and these accounts were used for visa fee and other official purposes.Habib Bank Branch Complex Regional Headquarter has also confirmed the development and on the condition of anonymity informed Online that the accounts were not abruptly close, prior to this move, two notices were served the Iranian Consulate and on unavailability of proper reply the accounts are closed.Bank has also closed the accounts of all the employees working in consulate.The Pakistani Tourist, Zaireen and traders have condemned the closure of accounts.
