KARACHI (Pakistan Point News / Online - 03rd April, 2019) The accused Assistant Sub Inspector (ASI) has escaped from the Supreme Court (SC) following rejection of his bail before arrest plea.The bail before arrest petition filed by ASI Ali Bakhsh Magsi in the case of killing one 20 years old youth in fake police encounter at Shaheed Benazir Abad came up for hearing in SC Karachi registry on Wednesday.The court rejected the bail plea and the accused easily fled the court.

Justice Sajjad Ali Shah remarked " the citizens are killed by bringing them in police chowki. It is domain of the courts to decide who is at fault and who is not at fault. 20 years old youth was killed. How can bail before arrest be granted to the accused. Courts will decide which accused is to be given capital punishment and which accused has to be let off. Taking law into their hands is not job of police.The court remarked " police is to follow law at every cost.

What is left more in defence of the accused after two eye witnesses and CCTV Footage.The court inquired " tell us has police conducted any inquiry. Was any one punished,.The prosecutor replied all the police officers and police man involved in fake encounter have been dismissed from service.Prosecutor said 20 years old youth was tortured to death on May 11, 2018 and SHO and other police personnel had left the dead body in hospital and made escape. Later the CCTV footage went viral. The eye witnesses have also recognized the accused.The prosecutor informed the court the SHO involved in fake encounter has died in jail while head moharrar is still in jail.
