MOSCOW (Pakistan Point News / Sputnik - 03rd April, 2019) While some foreign companies can't win the Russian car market segment, others, on the contrary, open new production lines, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said Wednesday.
Peskov said Russian President Vladimir Putin on Wednesday would take part in the ceremony to open a Mercedes-Benz assembly plant at the Yesipovo industrial park in the Moscow region.
"You see that Mercedes is expanding its presence. Some companies cannot conquer the necessary market segment. You know, Ford refuses to manufacture passenger cars, but other companies, on the contrary, make up for, say, the absence of their competitors," he told reporters.
