New Security Plan For Mayo Hospital

LAHORE, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 09th Nov, 2016 ) : A team of experts of Safe Cities Authority visited Mayo Hospital for security audit here on Wednesday. The visit was paid as a result of meeting between Secretary Specialized Healthcare & Medical education Najam Ahmed Shah and Chief Operating Officer of Punjab Safe Cities Authority Nasir Akbar Khan few days back.
A five-member team evaluated the security requirements of Mayo Hospital. The experts have started work on setting up security zones in and around the hospital. A spokesman of Specialized Healthcare & Medical Education informed that more CCTV cameras, electronic devices and DVRs would be installed within the hospital and on the entry as well as exit roads of the hospital.
Under the new security plan, control room would be set up in Mayo Hospital for which Safe Cities Authority would impart training to the technical staff and help in procurement of electronic devices.
The spokesman further said visible change in the security system of the hospital would come and the security of the hospital would be further tightened under close monitoring system. He said new security plan would provide a conducive and secured atmosphere for the doctors, nurses and other staff in the hospital premises. APP/mnb/zqr/ati � 21:08/21:10/21:10
