KARACHI (Pakistan Point News / NNI - 01st April, 2019) Sindh education Minister Syed Sardar Ali Shah on Monday warned of action against those involved in leaking of the Secondary School Certificate (SSC) examination paper in Sindh."There are reports of leaking of a paper on Whatsapp in the interior Sindh," Sardar Ali Shah said while talking to media during his visit to different examination centres in Karachi.He warned that strict action would be taken if any officer of the Education Department or Boards of Education in Sindh was found involved in this act.

The provincial minister said overall situation of the examinations was good, though complaints of use of unfair means were received from some centres. He said exam of students of Ghousia School would be given again. He said the children were deprived of examinations because of ignorance of school.Sardar Ali Shah said he would visit Thatta, Badin, Hyderabad and other areas of the province on Tuesday. Under the matriculation board, exams of Grade 9 and 10 had started across Sindh, including Karachi from Monday.

In the metropolis, 3,67,606 students of Science and General Group will take exams in a total of 365 examination centers across the city. In a bid to discourage use of unfair means in the matriculation examination, the provincial government has imposed section 144 around the examination centers in Karachi.According to a notification issued by the Sindh's home department, station house officers (SHOs) of the concerned police station were authorized to register complaints of unfair means and take action over violation of section 144 around the examination centers.
