Pak-China To Further Enhance Anti-corruption Cooperation

BEIJING, China, Nov 9 (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 09th Nov, 2016 ) : Chairman, National Accountability Bureau (NAB), Qamar Zaman Chaudhry on Wednesday said cooperation between two friendly countries - Pakistan and China in anti- corruption domain - would be further enhanced.
He said this during a meeting with QI Shan Wang, Member of Standing Committee of Political Bureau of Central Committee which also heads anti-corruption drive. The meeting also discussed significance of Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) signed between Pakistan and China for cooperation on matters carried with efforts to weed out corruption.
Qamar Zaman Chaudhry said Pakistan attaches great importance to its relationship with China and added signing of Memorandum of Understanding is very significant in increasing bilateral economic and trade cooperation with the resolve by both governments to work in a fair, impartial and corruption free environment.
He said China is Pakistan's time-tested friend as long- standing bilateral ties have been mutually supportive. QI Shan Wang appreciated NAB's efforts under leadership of Qamar Zaman Chaudhry to eradicate corruption. He also conveyed his strong regards for Pakistan's leadership.
