Islamabad (Pakistan Point News – 30th March, 2019) Who would have thought social media would get so powerful as to compel fast food chain McDonald’s to compel to Pakistan’s demand of providing an Anday Wala Burger.
But we saw this when comedian and singer Ali Gul Pir started a campaign demanding an Anday Wala Burger (Bun Kabab) from McDonald’s.
“@Aligulpir apne banaya social media ko hathiyaar. Watch the video to see how McDonald’s leaves you lajawaab by replying with pyaar. :D P.S. Milega, milega aap sabko bhe 1st April se McDonald’s mein ab bun kabab milega. #AndayWalaBurger #McDonaldsBunKabab,” the post read.
Speaking on the development, Ali Gul Pir said that he actually got an Anday Wala Burger delivered because of his campaign.
“Yes it's true! @McDonaldsPK has delivered the #AndayWalaBurger because of our movement. Thank you to the Saeen-tific family for the support, because of you all now whole Pakistan can have #McDonaldsBunKabab on April 1st! #AwaamKiDemandPuri Now I move on to fix other issues!” he said.
Ali Gul Pir had shared a video of himself as he visited various food outlets in Karachi, trying to find one item he wishes to have and failing to get it.
He had left an open question, “Who will feed him Anday Wala Burger?”
The challenge was accepted by McDonald’s Pakistan who claimed that it will provide the burger to the artist if he manages to gather enough people by his side.
Ali Gul Pir had actually succeeded and made history in Pakistan with McDonald's serving Anday Wala Burger.
