IESCO Resorts To 3-4 Hours Power Load-shedding

ISLAMABAD, Nov 9 (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 09th Nov, 2016 ) : The Islamabad Electric Supply Company (IESCO) has resorted to 3-4 hours new load Management schedule for urban and rural areas respectively of its region on directives of the Prime Minister The IESCO spokesman said that 3-4 hours load shedding was being carried out in entire company's region.

He said that in compliance of PM's directives, load shedding duration has been reduced 50 per cent. However, feeders of more losses or less recoveries will face more power outage. Meanwhile, IESCO has also started up-grading power distribution system to ensure smooth and un-interrupted power supply to the consumers.

The up-gradation of system and power transformers would also help address low voltage complaints, the spokesman said.
