Lahore Police arrest gang demanding Bit coin currency as ransom

Lahore police have claimed of arresting a gang which demanded crypto currency Bitcoin as ransom for abductee

Lahore (Pakistan Point News / Online - 27th March, 2019) Lahore police have claimed of arresting a gang which demanded crypto Currency Bitcoin as ransom for abductee.This dangerous plan was made in the office of Deputy Commissioner Lahore.It has been said in the police report that Deputy Commissioner Office operator Mazhar Abbas was also part of this 7 member gang and police arrested him at that time when he was with the deputy commissioner during official Pakistan Day event on March 23.

According to police, police constable Mohsin Abbas and Muhammad Arif are the official guards of high court judge while local of Lahore Muhammad Tahir and local of Faisalabad Sheikh Abdul Rauf Mini were the mini exchange and Bitcoin dealers.Another suspect of the case Faisal Yousaf was the student of information technology teacher Professor Shahid Nasir.This gang had received ransom of Rs 20 million after abducting Shahid Nasir.While talking to media men President Division SP Rashid Hidayat said that teacher has been recovered after arresting the 6 alleged suspects including the key suspect.

He said that Yousaf had made a plan for abduction of his teacher and he also contacted with other suspects for this.They rent a car from Sheikhupura and this vehicle was brought at the office of deputy commissioner where Mazhar Abbas after changing the number plate to green abducted the professor and went for Sheikhupura.Suspects demanded ransom of Rs 20 million while they had received the first installment of Rs 25, 00, 000 after that they were in contact with the family members of the abductee for the attainment of remaining amount.
