Special Centre To Check LRMIS Staff

LAHORE, Nov 9 (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 09th Nov, 2016 ) : A special centre has been established to monitor the performance of Land Record Management Information System (LRMIS) officials and use of mobile phone by the staff has also been restricted during duty timings.

This was stated by Senior Member board of Revenue Punjab Jawad Rafique in a press statement issued here on Wednesday. He said that irrelevent persons will not be allowed entry in the offices of the services centres while the officials would be available throughout the duty timings.

He said that preparation for project to computerise urban lands and electronic maps has also been started while international experts have been hired to make this project meet international standard.

"Project Management Unit (PMU) is always ready to provide relief to people of the province after computerization of land record of 143 tehsils of 36 districts from the LRMIS centres", he added. He said that land record computerization systems were operational in 143 Tehsils of Punjab and any person can receive the record of his case within 30 minutes.
