CM's Interest Free Loans Scheme; 11,000 Growers Register In Div

CHICHAWATNI, Nov 9 (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 09th Nov, 2016 ) : Punjab Chief Minister's interest free loans programme for small farmers is ongoing successfully across the province and 11,000 small growers have been registered for these loans in Sahiwal division.

This was stated by Punjab minister for Zakat and Usher Malik Nadeem Kamran while addressing a gathering of farmers here on Wednesday.

He said that a total of 58,000 small farmers will be provided agricultural loans in the division and they will be given a loan of Rs 65,000 per acre for Rabi and Kharif crops.

He said the government is also providing smart phones to farmers so that they can contact government officials,adding that useful tips for crops and weather updates will also be given on their mobile phones. Small cultivators of the province will get relief through CM Punjab's interest free loan programme,he added. APP/mjm-swf/anm
