Sharbat Gula Sent Back To Afghanistan

PESHAWAR, Nov 9 (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 09th Nov, 2016 ) : The 45-year-old Afghan woman Sharbat Gula also dubbed as Afghan Moonaliza was deported by Pakistani officials early Wednesday to her homeland following a brief period of detention for using fraudulent identity papers.
Sharbat Gula, whose blazing green eyes were captured in an image taken in a Pakistan refugee camp in the 1980s that became the magazine's most famous cover, was discharged from the hospital and taken to the border overnight, officials said. She crossed the border to Afghanistan at around 2:30am and was accompanied by her four children, Torkham administration official told newsmen.
