Former SBU Officer Says Aware of Planned Rigging at Upcoming Presidential Vote in Ukraine

A former employee of the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU), Vasil Prozorov, said on Monday that he was aware of planned falsifications during the upcoming presidential election in Ukraine

MOSCOW (Pakistan Point News / Sputnik - 25th March, 2019) A former employee of the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU), Vasil Prozorov, said on Monday that he was aware of planned falsifications during the upcoming presidential election in Ukraine.

"Concerning this election, one of the falsifications ... will be carried out through the Vybory electronic system, which is managed by the SBU Department for Computer and Information Security. And what a coincidence, in February 2019, wages of this department's employees were increased! Up to five SBU employees will be included in each local election commission, who will safeguard results of the voting and escort them to the Central Election Commission," Prozorov said at a press conference in the Rossiya Segodnya International Information Agency, adding that the SBU is fully controlled by incumbent Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko.

The first round of the Ukrainian presidential election is scheduled for Sunday.
