Israeli Military, Police Say Rocket Fired From Gaza Hit Home North of Tel Aviv

Israeli military and police said Monday that a rocket fired out of the Gaza Strip enclave hit a home north of the nation's capital Tel Aviv

TEL AVIV (Pakistan Point News / Sputnik - 25th March, 2019) Israeli military and police said Monday that a rocket fired out of the Gaza Strip enclave hit a home north of the nation's capital Tel Aviv.

Air raid sirens were sounded in densely-populated central Israel early on Monday, warning of a rocket attack.

"Police have been alerted to a rocket strike on moshav Mishmeret. The rocket hit a house, setting it on fire," it said in a statement.

The Israel Defense Forces issued a press release saying they had detected a rocket launch from the Palestinian enclave. This is the second time this month that Tel Aviv comes under a rocket attack from Gaza.
