Pakistan Army Organizes Free Medical Camp In Tharparkar Village

MITHI, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 08th Nov, 2016 ) : Pakistan Army arranged a free medical camp at Posarko village of Mithi Tehsil of Tharparkar on Tuesday for provision of free health care facilities to residents of far flung villages of south-eastern desert district.
More than 1900 people received clinical examination with provision of prescribed medicines at the medical camp. The next camp of the series would be organized at Bighar village on Wednesday. GOC Hyderabad Major General Muhammad Saeed Khan visited the medical camp.
Speaking on the occasion he said besides free medical treatment, the Pakistan Army was providing free of charge laboratory facilities to deserving patients, including different medical tests as well as ultra-sound examination.
He urged the district health officials to perfomr their duties with dedication and integrity and spare no effort in treatment of patients. Stressing upon need of promoting education and awareness in Tharparkar district, Major General Saeed said the Pakistan Army had also initiated an awareness campaign in the district.
The free medical camps in Tharparkar are part of series of free medical camps planed to be organized at Chhachhro, Mithi, Diplo, Nagarparkar, Parchi ji Veeri, Gadra and Khensar, the desert towns of Tharparkar and Umerkot districts in the month of November.
