All Pakistan Inter-Board Girls Badminton Championship Kicked Off

LARKANA, Nov 8 (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 08th Nov, 2016 ) : The Mayor, Larkana Municipal Corporation (LMC) Muhammad Aslam Shaikh, on Tuesday inaugurated the All Pakistan Inter board Girls Badminton Championship-2016-2017.
The Championship is being held at Niaz Siddiki Badminton Court of Officers Club Larkana, where the first match was played between BISE Mardan and BSE Karachi. The BISE Mardan beat BSE Karachi 2-1.
In second match played among the BISE Sukkur and BISE Mirpurkhas, the BISE Sukkur beat BISE Mirpurkhas by 2-0. This Championship is being organized by the Board of Intermediate & Secondary education (BISE) Larkana.
As many as 10 teams of Education Boards from all over the country are participating . Speaking on the occasion, Muhammad Aslam Shaikh said this championship had provided the opportunity for converging the players of all the four provinces at one place and this inter-action would go a long way in developing fraternity and integrity among them.
He said competitions of various games also inculcated the spirit to contest and mutual understanding. He also stressed upon the players to work hard, as they had to make name of the country in the releam of sports.
The Director Sports of BISE Larkana Muhammad Ramzan Jamali also spoke on the occasion. At the inaugural ceremony of the Championship, the students of various schools presented traditional folk dances.
Controller Examination BISE Larkana Fakuruddin Ahmed Babar Abro, Secretary Sindh Badminton Association Nisarullah Shaikh, Director Sports BISE Sukkur Muhammad Hassan Baluch, District Sports Officer Larkana Muhammad Hassain Makani, Akbar Qaimkhani Jamali and others were also present on the occasion.
