Prime Minister Imran Khan shared the message of the Indian prime minister on his twitter account
ISLAMABAD- (Pakistan Point News- 22nd March 2019) Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi has sent a message to Prime Minister Imran Khan on the eve of Pakistan Day.
The message was shared by PM Khan on his twitter handle. The Indian PM was quoted as saying: "I extend my greetings & best wishes to the people of Pakistan on the National Day of Pakistan. It is time that ppl of Sub-continent work together for a democratic, peaceful, progressive & prosperous region, in an atmosphere free of terror and violence"
Analysts term the message a great step towards normalization of relations between two countries.
Prime Minister Imran Khan has already expressed his desire for the establishment of peace between two nuclear-armed neighbors. In his first speech to the nation after becoming PM, Khan had said he wanted to resolve all issue with India through a dialogue inviting his counterpart for the talks.
