Ukraine is interested in preserving the transit of Russian gas through the creation of a gas transportation consortium, chairman of the political council of the Opposition Platform - For Life party Viktor Medvedchuk said Friday at a meeting with Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev and Gazprom CEO Alexey Miller in Moscow

KIEV (Pakistan Point News / Sputnik - 22nd March, 2019) Ukraine is interested in preserving the transit of Russian gas through the creation of a gas transportation consortium, chairman of the political council of the Opposition Platform - For Life party Viktor Medvedchuk said Friday at a meeting with Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev and Gazprom CEO Alexey Miller in Moscow.

"This is our position with Yuriy Anatolyevich [Boyko] and this is the position of the Opposition Platform - For Life - a gas transportation consortium is required to interest Gazprom, consumers in Europe and Ukraine, which will transit," Medvedchuk said as broadcast by the 112 Ukraine channel.

He called for restoration of mutually beneficial relations between Ukraine and Russia.
