Fine imposed for violation of law in Gadani Yard

QUETTA, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 08th Nov, 2016 ) : On the directives of Chief Minister Balochistan, Environmental Protection Agency has launched campaign of imposing fine against those industrial units who would be found involved in violation of environmental laws in Gadani Ship breaking Yard and Lasbela Industrial Estate.

According to a press release issued by the Environment Protection Agency here on Tuesday, action was taken against plastic films factory and it was charged with Rs 0.5 million for violating laws pertaining to environmental protection.

"Another fine of Rs 01 million was imposed against Habib Trading Mills after the industrial units was found involved in violation of laws in this regard," the press release said. It further said that NOC of plot No. 93 at Gadani Ship Breaking Yard has been imposed for violation of rules and regulations.
