Gazetted holiday on Nov 9 cancelled in AJK

MIRPUR (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 08th Nov, 2016 ) , Nov 8 (APP): Azad Jammu & Kashmir government Tuesday announced to cancel the gazetted holiday on Iqbal Day falling on November 9, it was officially announced.

According to an official notification issued by Services and General Administration Department of AJK government there would be no official holiday in AJK on November 9 on account of Iqbal Day being observed on Wednesday, to mark the birth anniversary of the poet of East Allama Iqbal.

All the government and autonomous institutions will remain open on November 9, according to the routine official hours, the official notification added.
