IRSA Releases 119,101 Cusecs Water From Various Rim Stations

ISLAMABAD, Nov 8 (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 08th Nov, 2016 ) : The Indus River System Authority (IRSA) Tuesday released 119,101 cusecs water for various rim stations with inflow of 49,109 cusecs.
According to the data released by IRSA, water level in the Indus River at Tarbela Dam was 1490.98 feet, which was 110.98 feet higher than its dead level 1380 feet. Water inflow in the dam was recorded as 28,000 cusecs while outflow was recorded as 65,000 cusecs.
The water level in the Jhelum River at Mangla Dam was 1181.65 feet, which was 141.65 feet higher than its dead level of 1040 feet whereas the inflow and outflow of water was recorded as 7008 cusecs and 40,000 cusecs respectively.
The release of water at Kalabagh, Taunsa and Sukkur was recorded as 84,094, 50,689 and 37,390 cusecs respectively. Similarly, from the Kabul River a total of 8,100 cusecs of water was released at Nowshera and 6,951 cusecs released from the Chenab River at Marala.
