Lahore (Pakistan Point News – 16th March, 2019) Barcelona’s footballer Carles Puyol has arrived in Karachi to officially kick-off the ticket sales for World Soccer Stars 2019 event.
Besides the soccer event, Puyol will also watch the final of Pakistan Super League (PSL) season 4 to be held on March 16.
“Karachi I look forward to seeing you all and I am really excited to meet all my fans in Pakistan at the one and only PSL final," Puyol said before coming to Pakistan.
"World Soccer Stars presents a great opportunity to celebrate the arrival of football and from what I know football is the next emerging sport in Pakistan," the Barcelona footballer said.
Earlier in January, international footballers Kaka and Luis Figo arrived in Pakistan to kick off World Soccer Stars event.
The World Soccer Stars (WSS) promises to be the greatest football spectacle in Pakistan, starting from April 26 till April 29t, with two matches in Karachi and Lahore respectively.
World Soccer Stars has been crafted to uplift football in Pakistan and will see use of interactive coaching clinics that will be assessed by world football stars and offer a gateway to football talent at grass-root level to recognise their skills.
With this event, football as a sport in Pakistan is now brimming with exciting prospects and a hopeful future.
