A one minute silence was also observed before the match of Pakistan Super League between the two teams at Karachi’s National Stadium on Friday.

A right-wing extremist armed with semi-automatic weapons rampaged through two mosques in New Zealand city of Christchurch on Friday, killing 49 worshippers and wounding dozens more.

Bangladesh's cricketers were right outside the mosque in which the attack took place but they were unhurt and safe.

President Arif Alvi and Prime Minister Imran Khan condemned the attack and termed it Islamophobia.
