Youth Role Vital For Economic Uplift

RAWALPINDI, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 07th Nov, 2016 ) : Rawalpindi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (RCCI) President Raja Amer Iqbal has urged youth to come forward and join hands in uplifting national economy.

He expressed these views in a ceremony organized by Cantonment Commerce Colleges here Monday. He said the youth of the country had the potential to make Pakistan more progressive, prosperous and developed country.

He said it was need of the hour to strengthen industry-academia linkage to endorse business activities and Rawalpindi Chamber was playing its role in this regard. President RCCI said the Chamber's mission was to flourish the talent of the students and provide them employment opportunities according to their capabilities.

He said youth comprises more than 60 percent of the total population. We need to engage our youth and government should invest on them. E-commerce, Information Technology and Services were the key areas where youth can take benefit of opportunities.

Skilled youth could help Pakistan to meet its goals linked with Mega projects like China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC), he added. He said RCCI would provide maximum support and cooperation for youth in seeking guidance, information and other related to start-ups, entrepreneurship and business incubation centers.
