ATC Sends Allama Mirza Yousuf To Prison On 14 Days Remand

KARACHI, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 07th Nov, 2016 ) : The chief of All Pakistan Shia Action Committee (APSAC) Allama Mirza Yousuf Hussain was sent on remand in prison for 14 days, here on Monday.
An administrative judge of the Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) sent him to the prison for hate speech.
The police produced him before the judge and sought his physical remand. However, the judge refused their request and sent Allama to the prison on judicial remand.
The police informed the court that Allama fuelled hatred during the funeral ceremony of late activist Khurram Zaki in May 2016.
