Dry Weather Expected In Plain Areas, Smoggy Conditions Likely Over

ISLAMABAD,(UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 07th Nov, 2016 ) : Mainly dry weather is expected in plain areas and cold in upper parts of the country while smoggy/foggy conditions would continue over plain areas of Punjab in next 24 hours.

Smog is likely to persist in Lahore, Gujranwala, Sargodha, Faisalabad, Sahiwal, Multan, Bahawalpur and Sukkur divisions during this time span.

Continental air is prevailing over most parts of the country, an official of Met office told APP.

In last 24 hours weather remained dry in most parts of the country whereas foggy conditions prevailed in plain areas of Punjab. Minimum temperatures recorded on Monday remained Skardu -3�C, Kalat -1�C, Astore 0�C, Gilgit, Dir 1�C, Hunza, Quetta 2�C, Chitral 4�C, Murree 6�C, Islamabad, Muzaffarabad 8�C, Peshawar 11�C, Lahore 13�C, Faisalabad 14�C, Multan 15�C and Hyderabad and Karachi 19�C.
