Sindh University Clinches All Pakistan Declamation Contest

HYDERABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 07th Nov, 2016 ) : The 2-member team of University of Sindh Jamshoro clinched the champion's trophy of 25th All Pakistan Bilingual declamation contest organised by the Cadet College Petaro.
The university spokesman informed here on Monday that the students namely Muhammad Junaid Malik of Faculty of Pharmacy and Sidra Baloch of the Institute of English Language and Literature participated in the contest.
Junaid Malik represented the university in urdu part of the contest while Sidra Baloch in English version of the event. A total of 50 students of 25 educational institutions participated in the contest, out of them Junaid Malik bagged first position in Urdu language and Sidra Baloch left 47 of her contenders behind and secured consolation prize in English language.
The competition is considered unique throughout the country on account of its exalted status and cut-throat competitive nature, the spokesman informed and added that it was second time for University of Sindh to have clinched this coveted trophy at Cadet College Petaro.
The winners under patronage of Dr. Fida Hussain Chandio, Director STAGS called on Prof. Dr. Muhammad Siddique Kalhoro, Vice-Chancellor, University of Sindh to partake with him the pride and pleasure of the triumph by presenting to him the champions trophy and the certificates of Participation.
Dr. Kalhoro complimented the winning students and Dr. Chandio upon their outstanding performance and glorious success in the national level event.
