'Country Cannot Afford Chaos, Confusion'

LAHORE, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 07th Nov, 2016 ) : Pakistan is passing through a very important phase of development of its history and it can not afford chaos and confusion. PML-N leader and Coordinator to Chief Minister Punjab Rana Mubashar Iqbal said this while addressing a meeting of PML-N workers here on Monday.

He said that Pakistan was a rapidly progressing country due to agenda being implemented by the incumbent government for economic uplift of the country. "Unrest, chaos and confusion could have negative implications for the progress and prosperity", he said.

Some elements wanted to create hurdles in the way of ongoing development projects of the country to meet their nefarious designs, he added.

He said that it was collective responsibility of citizens especially the political workers to come forward and work for foiling the nefarious designs of such elements.

"Pakistan is our home and our identity, therefore we will not hesitate to render all types of sacrifices for its sovereignty," he said. He stressed the need for working selflessly for the country by setting aside all differences and supporting the government in the implementation of China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) project.

He said that CPEC was very important to protect the future of our coming generations. He said that recent history had proved that people of Pakistan dislike anti-development elements.
