Promotion Of Education In AJK Govt's Top Priority: Barjees

ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 07th Nov, 2016 ) : Minister for Kashmir Affairs and Gilgit Baltistan, Chaudhry Muhammad Barjees Tahir, Monday said promotion and development of education sector in Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) is top priority of present Federal government.
He said this while meeting AJK Education Minister, Syed Iftikhar Gillani, said a press release issued here. Barjees said Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif is taking keen interest for promotion of education, infrastructure development, tourism and provision of health facilities in AJK.
He said that to promote education in the area, the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) AJK chapter gave special importance for the promotion of education in its manifesto and announced to establish Primary, secondary schools and universities in the area, adding which would be completed soon.
The minister said that the AJK government headed by Raja Farooq Haider was trying its best to resolve the issues of masses. Discussing the issue of Indian violations at Line of Control (LoC), he appreciated people of AJK for their bravery against Indian aggression.
Barjees said that Pakistan would continue its moral, political and diplomatic supports for the people of Indian Occupied Kashmir.
