CDGP Decides Construction Of World Standard Bus Stands

PESHAWAR, Nov.07 (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 07th Nov, 2016 ) : City District Government Peshawar has decided the construction of international standard General Bus Stands (GBS), establishment of first-aid centre for provision of emergency medical treatment and construction of boundary wall with immediate effect.

The District Nazim, Peshawar Mohammad Asim Khan along with Director Coordination, Sahibzada Mohammad Tariq, Deputy Director Colleges, Mian Shahfiq-ur-Rehman, Adda Manager, Azhar Ali Shah and other visited General Bus Stands.

During the visit the district nazim collected first hand information about facilities provided to commuters and fares from the people. On this occasion, briefing the district nazim, the Director Coordination, Sahibzada Mohammad Tariq told that in light of his directives measures for the turning the General Bus Stands according to international stand are being taken.

He said that measures are included establishment of first-aid centre, construction of boundary wall and international standard stands, establishment of modern service deck for washing of vehicles, super store for provision of cheap and quality edibles to commuters.

Under the plan, beside maintaining the beauty of the stands, the provision of uniformed staff will also be guaranteed and for this purpose Peshawar Development Authority (PDA) has been declared executing agency and directed for preparation of PC-I in this regard.
