LAHORE, Nov 7 (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 07th Nov, 2016 ) : PML-N Central Media Coordinator Muhammad Mehdi on Monday said that PTI Chief would wait until 2018 or even beyond as people of Pakistan supported the government policies of development and progress.
"Amid `politics of sit-ins and protests' the country can't move forward and investors shy to invest," he added. Speaking to reporters at the PML-N Krishan Nagar office alongwith veteran party leader Tariq Mehmood Gill, he said the incumbent government was sparing no effort for resolving peoples' problems.
He flayed the politics of agitation, saying the PML-N leadership was committed to changing the political culture of Pakistan from one of confrontation to that of serving the masses. He said mega development projects being accomplished speedily were aimed at welfare and betterment of the masses.
"Pakistan has started its journey towards progress and prosperity under the leadership of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and every effort will be made during the next two years for resolving all issues being faced by the country.
Mehddi said the China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) would open avenues of economic activity, generate employment and help usher in an era of prosperity and development in the country. He said that peace was being restored in Karachi while operation Zarb-e-Azb was wiping out terrorists from the country.
He said masses would re-elect PML-N in the election 2018 because of its excellent performance. He said Imran Khan's politics had been ended now due to his stubbornness and politics of egoism and vengeance.
The PML-N leader said turmoil and sit-ins were damaging the ongoing process of development in the country. "Political culture has to change," he said, adding that eradication of corruption was top priority of the government.
