IRSA Releases 120,692 Cusecs Water From Various Rim Stations

ISLAMABAD, Nov 7 (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 07th Nov, 2016 ) : The Indus River System Authority (IRSA) Monday released 120,692 cusecs water for various rim stations with inflow of 52,720 cusecs.
According to the data released by IRSA, water level in the Indus River at Tarbela Dam was 1492.37 feet, which was 112.37 feet higher than its dead level 1380 feet. Water inflow in the dam was recorded as 28,700 cusecs while outflow was recorded as 65,000 cusecs.
The water level in the Jhelum River at Mangla Dam was 1182.90 feet, which was 142.82 feet higher than its dead level of 1040 feet whereas the inflow and outflow of water was recorded as 8328 cusecs and 40,000 cusecs respectively.
The release of water at Kalabagh, Taunsa and Sukkur was recorded as 71,324, 43,638 and 46,363 cusecs respectively. Similarly, from the Kabul River a total of 8000 cusecs of water was released at Nowshera and 7692 cusecs released from the Chenab River at Marala.
