Iran To Facilitate Pakistani Pilgrims

ISLAMABAD, Nov 7 (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 07th Nov, 2016 ) : Iranian embassy in Islamabad and consulates in Lahore, Karachi and Peshawar are willing to provide all facilities to Pakistani pilgrims who want to leave for Iraq through Iran.
According to Radio Tehran, Pakistani pilgrims are preparing themselves to participate in "Chehlum" of Imam Hussain and other martyrs of Karbala in Iraq.
A large number of people will travel to Iraq through Iran because there is no direct flight running between Iraq and Pakistan.
Talking to Radio Tehran, Iran's ambassador to Pakistan Hunar Mehdi Dost said that Iran will increase the number of officials in Iran embassy to facilitate Pakistani visitors regarding visa services. He mentioned that Iran issues visas to more than one hundred and thirty thousand Pakistani visitors every year who travel to Iran and Iraq for their religious purposes.
