600 Laptops Distributed Among Federal Urdu University Students

ISLAMABAD, Nov 7 (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 07th Nov, 2016 ) : Federal urdu University on Monday distributed 600 laptops amongst bright students under Prime Minister Laptop Scheme. The positive usage of technology was imperative in this modern era for bringing socio-economic development in society, Member National Assembly (MNA) of Pakistan Muslim League (Nawaz) (PML-N), Tahira Aurangzeb said this while addressing a ceremony.
The ceremony was attended by Director Quality Enhancement Cell (QEC), Higher education Commission (HEC), Dr.
Kamran Ahsan, Registrar Federal Urdu University, Shah G Muhammad and a large number of students and faculty members.
Tahira Aurangzeb said technology was the major source for imparting latest skills and knowledge amongst youth. The laptops should also be provided to the best teachers, she said and added, "We would forward recommendations to Prime Minister in this regard." The PML-N leader urged the students to play their vital role in utilizing their energies for sustainable peace in the society.
