ISLAMABAD (Pakistan Point News / NNI - 08th March, 2019) In response to the devastation and damage due to flood and rains in Balochistan, The Ministry of Defence Production has dispatched food items for the flood affected areas of Balochistan.The relief package contains food items and other usable which have been contributed by all the organizations working under Ministry of Defence Production. Federal Minister for Defence Production Ms. Zubaida Jalal has said that Government is making every effort to assist the people of Balochistan affected by floods.
She said that NDMA, FC and armed forces are there to provide relief to the flood affected people. While, federal Government has offered every bit of assistance to Balochistan Government in providing facilities to flood victims.She said that Ministry of Defence Production is also contributing to this by providing essential shelter and food items.The minister has said that one cargo plane carrying relief goods has already reached Balochistan and more goods are on their way to flood affectees. She said that people of Balochistan will never be left alone in this critical situation. The relief goods included 100 Tents, 500 Quilts, thousands of Kilograms each of food items including floor, rice, pulses, cereals, Sugar milk water and dry fruits. NNI
