Tokyo stocks open higher after FBI decision

TOKYO, Nov 7, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 07th Nov, 2016 ) - Tokyo stocks opened higher on Monday after the FBI lifted the threat that Hillary Clinton might face charges over her private email server ahead of the US presidential election.

The benchmark Nikkei 225 index gained 1.31 percent, or 220.67 points, to 17,126.03. The broader Topix index was up 1.25 percent, or 16.85 points, at 1,363.89.
