KP Ministers, Bureaucracy's Lavish Spendings Under Honoraria Head Put Provincial Kitty Under Pressure

PESHAWAR, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 07th Nov, 2016 ) : Provincial ministers and bureaucracy in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa despite financial crises spent over Rs50 million under the head of honoraria during last five months.
The official documents revealed the ministers and senior civil officers continued with their lavish spendings contrary to KP governments' policy of austerity and financial crunch it was facing due its naive economic policies.
The provincial legislators spent Rs. 40.16 million under honraria head as against allocation of Rs 20.40 million in 2016-17 annual budget in last five months. Similarly Rs10.30 million allocated for CM House in the current budget, it had utilised over Rs.
20.18 million in last five months.
The lavish spendings overburdened the provincial kitty. The provincial assembly, CM House, establishment, P&D, depts and Commandant Frontier Reserve Police draw the honoraria.
The provincial ministers as against allocation of Rs. 4.5 million, withdraw Rs. 60 million honoraria. No allocation was made for SSP traffic office in current year budget ironically it withdraw Rs4 million honoraria in last five months.
Rupees one thousand allocated for special branch but it withdraw Rs4.1 million from the provincial kitty and the same is case with commandant frontier reserve police office which draw Rs 1.2 million honoraria against nil allocation in 2016-17 budget. Peshawar city police got Rs.0.3 million honoraria against zero allocation.
