IGP For Holding Seminars To Improve Police Officers' Capabilities

KARACHI, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 05th Nov, 2016 ) : Inspector General of Police (IGP), Sindh, A.D. Khawaja, has directed that seminars be organized at the level of police's ranges to enhance the professional capabilities of the officers.
He said here on Saturday that these should be aimed at enhancing the performance of the police department as well as creating a liaison with the public. The IGP was of the view that police officials associated with operation, investigation, forensic, finger prints and other important sections as well as members of judiciary, lawyers, business community, CPLC and welfare organizations should also be invited at these seminars so that in the light of suggestions and recommendations steps be initiated for enhancing the capacity as well as capabilities of the police personnel.
He also directed that the DIGs concerned should ensure the holding of such seminars. The IGP further stated that he himself would also attend some of the seminars.
