KARACHI (Pakistan Point News / NNI - 02nd March, 2019) The Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) Chief Hafiz Naeem-ur-Rehman has expressed his deep concern over increase in gas and petroleum products' price; adding that the said increase in POL prices is an unjustified act with the masses.In a statement Saturday, Hafiz Naeem termed hike in gas and POL prices an "unjustified" and unacceptable.Hafiz Naeem said that the people are already facing inflation nowadays and recent increase in POL prices considers as "petrol bomb" on the innocent people of the country.
He further feared that the continue increase in POL prices may deteriorating the condition and the people may took into streets against the said pathetic performance and policies of the upcoming government."Every upcoming government is blaming the past government for deteriorated economic condition; however, the recent PTI government has failed to control the corruption and uplift the economy of the country.Hafiz Naeem clarified that the Jamaat-Islami is standing with the common men and reserves the rights to raise its voice in the favour of the masses."If the government will not take the public issues seriously, then the JI will stage protest demonstrations for the basic rights of the masses", Hafiz Naeem warned.
