EDOs directed to launch awareness campaign regarding smog

LAHORE, Nov 5 (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 05th Nov, 2016 ) : Director General Health Dr Mukhtar Hussain Syed directed the EDOs to immediately launch a vigorous awareness drive in their respective districts against environmental pollution and smog.

In a monthly EDOs meeting held here on Saturday, he directed that leaflets and face masks be distributed among the people. He observed that smog and environmental pollution was a serious threat to the health and people should adopt precautionary measures from smog to protect themselves from long lasting respiratory diseases.
