Cricket: South Africa 390-6 against Australia at stumps

PERTH, Australia, Nov 5, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 05th Nov, 2016 ) - South Africa was in a commanding position after the third day of the first Test against Australia at the WACA Ground in Perth on Saturday.

After trailing by just two runs in the first innings, the visitors were 390 for six at stumps on the third day, an overall lead of 388 with four wickets in hand.

JP Duminy made 141 and Dean Elgar 127, the pair adding 250 for the third wicket. Dale Steyn will be unable to bowl in the Australian second innings due to a shoulder injury.
