According to a Gilani Research Foundation Survey carried out by Gallup & Gilani Pakistan, nearly 5 in 10 Pakistanis who report having someone with hypertension in their home say that hypertensive individuals visit a private clinic/laboratory to get their blood pressure checked, followed by 22% who say that it is checked at home, and 19% who say that a government hospital is visited

Islamabad (Pakistan Point News - 01st March, 2019) According to a Gilani Research Foundation Survey carried out by Gallup & Gilani Pakistan, nearly 5 in 10 Pakistanis who report having someone with hypertension in their home say that hypertensive individuals visit a private clinic/laboratory to get their blood pressure checked, followed by 22% who say that it is checked at home, and 19% who say that a government hospital is visited. A nationally representative sample of men and women from across the four provinces who reported having someone with hypertension in their home was asked, “How do people suffering from hypertension get their blood pressure checked these days?” In response to this question, 22% said that they get it checked at home, 19% that they go to a government hospital, while 52% that they go to a private clinic/laboratory.
