'Best Health Care Services To Be Provided To People'

MULTAN, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 04th Nov, 2016 ) : A strategy has been devised to take revolutionary steps in the Health department to provide best health care services to people. This was stated by Executive District Officer Health Dr Zafar Abbas, here on Friday.

He said that presence of doctors would be ensured while crackdown against quacks and complete check on medical stores were listed top of the plan. He said that eight basic health unit-plus had been made operational while 15 others would be operational next month, adding that free health services and medicines would be provided round the clock in these units while Rs 2,500 would be given to lady health visitors on each delivery by the Punjab government.

He said that all the drug inspectors had been directed to raid on medical stores selling spurious medicines and running without licenses. The EDO Health said best health care services would be provided on time to the citizens of Multan district, and no negligence would be tolerated in this regard.
