Global equestrian community to meet at Dubai International Horse Fair in March

The global equine industry will once again converge on the Dubai International Horse Fair and the Dubai International Arabian Horse Championship at the Dubai World Trade Centre from 21st to 23rd March, 2019, in Dubai

DUBAI, (Pakistan Point News - 26th Feb, 2019) The global equine industry will once again converge on the Dubai International Horse Fair and the Dubai International Arabian Horse Championship at the Dubai World Trade Centre from 21st to 23rd March, 2019, in Dubai.

Held under the patronage of H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai and Minister of Finance, the fair will showcase the latest equine products, horse therapies and the finest breeds of horses the world has to offer.

The current equine industry is valued at approximately US$300 billion globally and impacts 1.6 million full-time jobs. The United Kingdom, UK, which is home to several of the fair’s exhibitors such as Equine Products UK and Barriers International, is internationally recognised as the leading source of equine expertise with overseas trade currently valued at over GBP500 million. Guangzhou DeeOne Exhibition Co. Ltd hails from China where the number of horse clubs has increased by 1,500 percent in recent years, from 90 in 2010 to 1400 in 2017. Multi Radiance Medical is a returning exhibitor to the fair and is based in the US where seven million Americans are directly involved in the industry with two million owning horses themselves.

The fair will also feature renowned brands specialising in state of the art stables, feeds, riding apparel and garments. In addition, art and décor pieces with an equestrian theme from the likes of Reem Gallery, Equine Art and Baba Art will be on offer to the public in an extensive gallery alongside other artists from around the world.

Over 10,000 buyers, professionals, breeders and enthusiasts from more than 25 countries with new additions from Serbia, China, Chile, Malaysia, Lebanon and Turkey amongst others are expected to attend the Dubai International Horse Fair to share ideas and widen their global networks with over 200 brands and companies.

With $4 million (AED15 million) offered as prize money, the Dubai International Arabian Horse Championship will present majestic Arabian steeds valued at approximately $1 million to $2 million.

New international exhibitors include Deltacast-France, EquinArt-Germany, and Granata Selleria Srl-Italy, to name but a few and bring with them cutting edge technology, beautiful craftsmanship and exceptional talent and expertise.
