Eight POs among 82 arrested

PESHAWAR, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 04th Nov, 2016 ) : Launching a search operation in various areas of the city, police have arrested 82 outlaws including eight proclaimed offenders (POs) and recovered arms from their possession.

The operation was conducted under the SSP Operations Sajjad Khan in areas within limits of City, Cantt and rural divisions here Friday.

During the operation, police arrested 82 suspects including 8 proclaimed offenders who were wanted to police in different crimes.

Police also recovered one Kalashnikov, one repeater, 27 pistols, four kilogram hashish and 10 bottle of liquor from their possession. Cases have been registered in relevant police stations and investigations were underway. APP/mds/drs
