President orders to amend SC Judges (leave, pension, privileges)

ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 04th Nov, 2016 ) : President of Pakistan has ordered special additional pension of Rs 12,000 per month instead of services of an Orderly and Rs 10,000 per month in lieu of services of a driver for judges of the Supreme Court of Pakistan.

According to Ministry of Law and Justice, the president promulgated the order to amend the Supreme Court Judges (Leave, Pension and Privileges) Order, 1997 for providing the facility. The Order may be called the Supreme Court Judges (Leave, Pension and Privileges) (Amendment) Order, 2016 and it shall come into force at once.
